Justice department books Sun City for three-day access to justice summit
The department says its steering committee met at Sun City on Thursday to put the final touches to an international conference on access to justice running from 11 to 13 November.
The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development will hold an International Conference on Access to Justice at the Sun City Convention Centre in North West from 11 to 13 November 2026, the department said in a post on its official X account on Thursday.
The department said its steering committee met at Sun City on Thursday for what it described as the final preparations, with officials from Justice, the Presidency, the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, the Office of the Chief Justice, the department’s North West provincial office and the State Security Agency taking part.

The post gave no programme, no list of confirmed delegates, no cost and no indication of which countries or institutions are expected to attend. It carried four photographs from the department.
The department is promoting the event under the hashtags #AccessToJusticeConference2026 and #AccessToJusticeForAll.
