The South African National Defence Force held the prize giving ceremony for its Military Skills Competition 2026 at the Constand Viljoen Mess at Army Support Base Potchefstroom on Saturday 31 October 2026.
The defence force announced the ceremony on its official X account, posting four photographs from the event. It said the prizes were presented by the Chief of the South African National Defence Force.

The Military Skills Competition, known within the force as MILCOMP, is the annual contest in which units are tested on military skills. The defence force did not, in its announcement, name the units or individuals who took the top places, or say how many competitors took part this year.
The Enquirer has asked the SANDF for the competition results and will report them when they are provided.
