Roodepan SAPS are appealing to the public for help in finding Ashwin Sipho Falata, aged between 20 and 25, who was reported missing on 2 November.

According to the police statement, Falata was last seen on Monday, 2 November at about 12:00. His family became concerned when they could not establish where he was. His uncle contacted family members in Upington and Groblershoop to try to find him, and those attempts did not succeed.

Police say his last known whereabouts and the clothing he was wearing when he disappeared are currently unknown. That leaves the public without the usual details that help people recognise someone who has gone missing.

Anyone with information on Falata’s whereabouts is urged to contact Lt Col Rheeder on 082 469 0791 or Captain Steenkamp on 082 503 4713.

The appeal was issued through the SAPS Crime Stop channel and its MySAPSApp, which the service uses for public assistance requests.
