Western Cape liquor licence fees for 2027 are open for public comment until 23 November
Liquor licence holders, stakeholders and the public have until 23 November 2026 to comment on the province's proposed fee adjustments for 2027.
Liquor licence holders, stakeholders and members of the public have until 23 November 2026 to comment on proposed liquor licence fee adjustments for 2027 in the Western Cape.
The Western Cape Government announced the comment period on its official X account on 5 November, inviting submissions on the proposed changes. The post directed readers to a link for further details and gave the 23 November deadline for comments.
The province has not, in the material it published, set out the size of the proposed adjustments, which licences they affect or how the fees would apply to different categories of licence holder. Those details sit behind the link the government shared with the invitation.
For licence holders, the fee schedule is a direct operating cost, and the comment window is the point at which the trade and the public can put their views on the record before the 2027 adjustments are settled.
Comments are due by 23 November 2026.
