Maimane's last push: BOSA tells every voter to turn out tomorrow
The Build One South Africa leader used the eve of the poll to thank his candidates and ask voters for a party that fights for jobs, safety and leadership that puts people first.
Build One South Africa has spent the eve of the poll telling its candidates and supporters to get every last voter out, with party leader and MP Mmusi Maimane issuing a final appeal ahead of tomorrow’s vote.
In a message posted by the party on X, Maimane thanked BOSA candidates for “the incredible fight” and said the task now was to “mobilise every single voter.”
To voters, he put the party’s case in three words: jobs, safety and leadership. “If you want a party in the room fighting for jobs, safety, and leadership that puts people first, vote BOSA,” the message reads.
The appeal closes with a simple instruction: “See you at the polls tomorrow!”
It is a short message with a narrow job, and it does not stray beyond it. There is no new policy position in it, no claim about the state of the race and no account of what BOSA expects from the count.
What it does show is where the party has chosen to spend its final hours, on turnout rather than argument, and on the three issues it believes will move a voter standing in a queue tomorrow.
Whether that message lands is now out of the party’s hands.
