Hlazo-Webster votes in Bryanston as BOSA makes its Joburg mayoral pitch
The Build One South Africa deputy leader and MP cast her ballot in Bryanston, with her party framing the day around accountable leadership for Johannesburg.
Build One South Africa’s deputy leader and Member of Parliament, Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster, has voted at her station in Bryanston, the party said on Wednesday.
In a post on its official X account, BOSA said Hlazo-Webster, who is also its Johannesburg mayoral candidate, had arrived at the voting station. The party published three photographs with the post.

The party framed the vote in its own words, saying the day was “not just about casting a vote, it’s about delivering real, accountable leadership for the people of Johannesburg.”
That is the party’s stated position rather than a reported outcome. BOSA is contesting Johannesburg’s mayoralty with Hlazo-Webster as its candidate, and the post presents accountability in the city’s leadership as the case it is putting to voters.
The party gave no further detail in the post on turnout, results or its programme for the city. Counting in the municipal poll will decide the mayoral outcome.
